January 17, 2020. Rogers & Associates announced the completion and opening of the Horne Building, a 95,712 square foot Class A + office building in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The building is 91% leased to five tenants on long term, non-cancellable leases. Horne CPA and advisors leased 72,960 square feet on a 15 year lease and occupies the entirety of the second and third floors and a portion of the ground level. The owners recently received a fixed rate, non-recourse, first mortgage totaling $23,500,000.

July 19, 2018.  Steven G. Rogers was elected Chairman of the Board of RREEF America REIT II, a private Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in Chicago, with gross real estate assets of over $13 billion.  His association with the firm began in 2014 as an independent trustee where he served on the Nominating and Governance, Compensation and Audit Committees.  The REIT is affiliated with the DWS, a recent spin off from Deutsche Bank, AG, one of the world’s largest bank holding companies.

June 15, 2018.  Rogers & Associates, LLC announced the ground breaking and co-development of the Horne Building, a 96,000 rentable square foot class “A” office building located in Ridgeland, MS.  Horne LLP has leased approximately 71,000 square feet in the building on a 15 year, non-cancellable lease.  The building will open for occupancy January 1, 2020.

March 17, 2016. Steven G. Rogers was elected to the board of directors of Cedar Realty Trust, Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE:CDR). The firm is headquartered in New York and focuses on the ownership and operation of primarily grocery-anchored shopping centers in the Washington, D.C. to Boston corridor. The Company’s portfolio comprises 61 properties, with approximately 9.5 million square feet.

January 1, 2016. Steven G. Rogers was elected Chairman of the Board of Net Lease Alliance. His previous association with the Company included serving as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee.

November 2, 2015. Rogers & Associates acted as financial advisor to the committee of independent directors of City Office REIT for its acquisition of the stock of its external advisor. Upon completion of the transaction City Office will transition from an externally managed company to an internally managed company. City Office is a publicly traded office REIT headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange trading under the symbol “CIO”.

July 17, 2014. Steven G. Rogers, was elected to the Board of Directors of RREEF America REIT II. RREEF II is a private REIT headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and has gross assets of over $10 billion located in 36 major metro areas, with its largest holdings in seven major gateway markets in the United States. It has 226 institutional investors and was founded in 1998. RREEF II is affiliated with Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management (AWG), a division of Deutsche Bank, AG, a worldwide banking system, having assets under management of over $2 Trillion (USD) and over 100,000 employees in 70 countries.

July 24, 2013. Steven G. Rogers was elected Chairman of the Board of RREEF America REIT III. His previous association with the RREEF REIT included serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

March 7, 2013. Steven G. Rogers was elected to the Board of Directors of Net Lease Alliance, a provider of development management services headquartered in Nashville, TN, which includes providing debt & equity capital to its development partners. The Net Lease Alliance team has supported Build to Suit and Net Lease Development for over 1,500 properties in all 48 contiguous states.

December 19, 2012. Steven G. Rogers has joined Millsaps College as an executive-in-residence. Dr. Kimberly G. Burke, dean of the Else School at Millsaps, said Rogers brings a wealth of business experience and also an interest in developing young business leaders. “We are extremely fortunate to have Steve serve as an executive-in-residence,” she said. Millsaps College is one of a small group of national liberal arts colleges with both a Phi Beta Kappa chapter and accreditation at the graduate and undergraduate level by AACSB International.

September 14, 2012. Steven G. Rogers was elected to the Board of Directors of RREEF America REIT III today by the shareholders of the REIT.  The REIT is a multi-billion dollar asset, open- ended real estate fund organized as a private Real Estate Investment Trust. The REIT is headquartered in San Francisco and currently has 118 institutional investors. RREEF III is affiliated with Deutsche Bank, AG, one of the world’s leading banks.

September 6, 2012. Rogers & Associates acted as advisor to Cedar Realty Trust (NYSE:CDR) in unwinding its 22 asset joint venture with RioCan (TSX:REI.UN) valued in aggregate at approximately $600,000,000. The advisory services included finding a suitable replacement institutional partner in the event that RioCan exercised the buy-sell provision in the Venture documents.
